Connect, recharge, and build new relationships at the WIE Walk and Talk, a daily one-hour walk that brings conference attendees together for informal conversation, networking, and community building in a relaxed setting.
Participants who complete the walk will receive a special token of completion.

The Mentorship Meet-Up is a unique opportunity for students and young professionals to connect directly with senior SMC members and leaders, receiving advice on academic and career paths, building mentorship connections, gaining insights into SMC Society involvement, expanding their professional network, obtaining first-hand career guidance from top SMC leaders, and learning how to become a mentor or mentee.
Session also includes the presentation of the awardees of the SMCS PhD Thesis Grant Initiative 2026 for outstanding PhD research in Systems Science & Engineering, Human-Machine Systems, and Cybernetics
